Samantha Harrison lives and works in Los Angeles, California, USA. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Otis College of Art and Design and has worked as a color supervisor in animation for the past 30 years on shows like The Simpsons and Futurama, amongst others. Predominantly a painter, Harrison has expanded into new mediums using textiles, hand embroidery, and video art with digital drawing and animation set to music. Across mediums Samantha’s work is deeply personal. For Harrison, artmaking is a life-long endeavor to bring hidden thoughts into the light in order to make what is painful, beautiful
